Sage and Incense Sticks
Sage Sticks are bundles of herbs – white sage and lavender – bound together by twine. Burning these herbs have been known to have many benefits. Including removing bacteria from the air, improving intuition, improving mood and reducing stress and anxiety. Burning sage in a wonderful meditation tool.
Open the doors or windows, then place the bundle in a ceramic dish, bowl, incense tray, or other non-flammable vessel. Light one end of the sage stick with a match or lighter, let it burn for a few seconds, then blow out the flame to release the smoke. Walk slowly around each room, wafting the smoke in all directions. The smell of white sage brings a sense of peace and clarity, while clearing negativity from the room.
